Churches and Historical Buildings

lambert-gill have carried out many significant church and heritage projects.

Notable was the £1.6 million complete re-building of St Michael’s Church, Workington.
For this scheme we were awarded the Allerdale Building Control Service’s Built in Quality Award.

We also completely re-modelled Penrith Methodist Church. This complicated scheme was carried out to time and budget and to the highest level of quality.

Other church schemes include extensions and extensive refurbishment of St John’s Church on Close Street, Carlisle, the conversion of Aglionby Street Baptist Church into flats and a smaller church and extensive works at St Elizabeth’s Church, Harraby and St Michaels Church, Dalston.

Our work on historical schemes includes the complete reinstatement, back to its original state of Wordsworth House, Cockermouth and the remodelling and refurbishment of Keswick Moot Hall.
